There are 14 new LJ Icons and 1 new Background available. New LJ Icons are: 1 Stargate Atlantis, 2 Miscellaneous, 4 Greece, 6 Rome, and 1 Egypt. The New Background is a Textured one from a scan of a Roman mosaic.

I'm going to try and add some new Backgrounds and Wallpapers tomorrow. I may also make some new LJ Icons if the muses allow.

Yesterday was a great (and tiring) day. It was really long, but I ended up getting a lot done dispite teaching for almost 13 hours. There are 21 new Icons, and more should be coming along later this evening. I may also have time to type up an actual lesson plan or two, since I've finished up my African music unit and we're moving onto Halloween (one of my favourite holidays). I've lost my singing voice to my cold, and I'm sure my talking voice is going to follow, so I think the Pre-Kindergarteners are going to be listening a lot today, and maybe playing Musical Bump (like musical chairs, but without the chairs--last to sit is out).

I had to learn (re-learn?) some CSS and DHTML to get it finished, but it works and I'm happy with it. I may tweek it to make it into a Webpage Set if I get creative later.

I'm also working on the Egypt Page. I've tweeked a few things here and there, and they've been uploaded. I'm currently working on a list of Egyptology Terms, and expect it'll be done enough to post in the next day or so.

I got a part time job as a piano teacher at a Learning Center in Loveland about 30 minutes from my house. I'll be starting after Labour Day with that and with Substitute Teaching, so updates may not come as frequently as they have been this summer after that time. Just FYI.

The Deities Page is up and running. All I have there at the moment are Egyptian deities, and even the few that I have up are not yet complete. I just thought I'd get off my duff and post some actual content before hunkering down to read the sixth Harry Potter book. I'll be making updates to that section periodically, and when I do I'll let you know here.
