There are 11 new LJ Icons available for y'all tonight: 4 Greece-Related, 3 Rainbow Brite (which may get its own section soon, lol!), 2 Mythology, 1 Josie and the Pussycats, and 1 for The Notebook. I re-organized some of the pages while I was at it, grouping icons from the same fandom/subject together. I'll be doing more of this as I add more icons.

I've also started typing up some of my lesson plans for the African Music unit. I should have a bunch of them ready to post by the weekend.

Oh, and I'm working on the Deities Page, and should have a sizeable addition tomorrow that will include Roman Gods and Goddesses.

Sorry about not updating these last few days. I didn't get a job I really wanted, and have had to look around and apply elsewhere. It's pretty much been taking up all of my energy. But I digress...

I did get to making 2 new collages and 7 LJ Icons. I also made a few minor tweeks here and there (mostly fixing broken links and such).

The Vicodin is working, so I feel much better today. As a result, I've been pretty productive.

There are 6 new Desktop Calendars, all of them for the month of August: 1 Stargate Atlantis, 1 Sarah Michelle Gellar, 1 The Mummy/The Mummy Returns, 1 Moulin Rouge, 2 Fine Art.

I also posted 3 of the PSP Tubes that I've created over the years: Greek Vases, Greek Coins, and Roman Coins.

A few of you have asked where my icon came from, and if I had made it myself. Funny story, that. I made it from a picture that I took while in Greece. I was touring the ruins at Phaestos (a Minoan "palace" on the island of Crete), and was in the palace magazines area when I came upon a familiar symbol carved on one of the pillars:

I snapped a few pictures, and everyone else in my group thought I was off my nut. Hey, it's not every day that you come across the SG-1 symbol for Earth carved on a pillar at an archaeological site! I kinda don't think the Minoans carved the symbol on the pillar (it was probably one of the "archaeologists" from the 1800s), but it was neat seeing it there nonetheless.

By popular demand I got 10 new Live Journal Icons made (5 Fine Art, 2 Stargate Atlantis, 1 Miscellaneous, 1 Highlander, 1 Other Fandom--ROAR). There might be a few more before the night is over, depending on if my medication kicks in or not.

The Greek Dances page has been completed. Thanks to everyone who betaed it for me.

According to my new stats system, the most popular area of the 'Realm is the Wallpapers page, specifically the Fine Art Wallpapers. I added 9 new wallpapers there, tweeked from postcards that I have hanging on my wall--most of which I got during my trip to Greece and Spain. Enjoy!

The second most popular section is collages. I'm in the process of making some new SGA collages, so look for those in a few days; they tend to take me a little longer than most everything else.
